The 2013 Bangladesh Premier League season, abbreviated as BPL 2
or the BPL 2013, will be the second season of the Bangladesh Premier
League, established by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in 2012.The
tournament will begin on 17 January 2013. The competition features six
teams and a tournament format with a double round robin group stage, two
semi-finals and a final. A new team representing the Rangpur Division may be
added in the tournament this season. The inaugural BPL was won by Dhaka
Gladiators. This Tournament might do New Auctions for the joining of new team.
The highest wicket taker of the tournament will win the purple cap while the
highest run scorer will win the orange cap. Other awards includes the man of
the tournament.
